Access
Our goal is to create greater access to unique proprietary direct deals through a prudent co-investment strategy that leverages the benefits and resources of private equity firms, experienced management teams, corporations, and family offices. Our team has different backgrounds (Private Equity, Banking, Legal, Tax) and global reach and is able to actively originate proprietary-non auction transactions globally.
Strategy
Our approach is to co-invest with influential, top-performing sponsors, either in control oriented or minority deals. We privilege capital preservation, balancing it with yields and returns. Our investment focus is on growing middle-market companies within sectors where we have resident knowledge. We focus on actionable, proprietary deals with robust investment theses and high quality management. Our investment and transaction focus includes, but is not limited to, leveraged buyouts, debt as well as recapitalization and growth equity.
Analysis
Our deal team has actively performed due diligence on many co-investment opportunities. By leveraging the knowledge and experience of our Senior Team and Advisory Board, our detailed analysis results in a highly selective process that may convert in only few deals chosen per year. The reason for this intense process is to provide carefully considered deal selection for our co investment partners. MC Square team has long standing experience in private equity, banking, tax and legal, allowing us to analyze a transaction from many angles.
Management Council

To ensure high-quality deal selection for our co investment partners, we established a Management Council (MC). This forum of senior operating executives provide experienced industry perspectives and strategic guidance in our sectors of focus. MC’s seasoned executives also have a robust track record as managers and entrepreneurs, and are skilled at developing investment theses, structuring financial strategies, performing due diligence and executing transactions. MC members advise only on non-securities business. No member of the MC is registered with MC Square Capital LLC
